30/03/2020: Where do I even begin.... I cannot believe the last time I wrote here was on August 18th... So much has happened since that time and I'm not sure if I can even cover everything that's gone on. Maybe it's best not to get into any of it.... Anyway... I've been playing with Tamas on and off for the last number of months, and certain parts of this website have been getting updated. But in the end I've always come back to this section because these blogs are what started it all, way back in 2015... The last time I wrote here, I mentioned that I had a sick cat... And two days later, she died... :( I won't get too much into that day but it was a horrible one and I'm now down to just one animal, my cat Mister, here at my moms... Life has changed so much. And it's changing by the minute now with this horrible Pandemic going on in our world. :( All I can say is I am glad I am off work right now. I've decided to take this time to really get back into Tamas. With the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch March 20th, I decided I needed another hobby to keep me going. I had been running a white and blue German P2 which I had a Mimitchi on, but he passed away at the age of 17 on the 20th. I restarted that same Tama again and got a Kusatchi as my adult form! I hadn't seen that guy in so long so I am happy to have him. :) Last night I was going through my Tamas and found a bunch of ones that had been on pause since 2018! Yes, two years ago. And the batteries still work! They were Kutchipatchi (red/yellow clockface German P1), Chobitamatchi (Yellow/leaves Morino Tama), and Mimitchi Tama (yellow/blue Tama). Mimitchi Tamas buttons are completely gone so he will remain on pause until the batteries die... Poor Mimitchi Tam... I really got a lot of use out of that Tama for many years, but it's time for him to go into retirement forever now. Minutes after taking everyone off pause, I heard that slow steady beeping that is so well known. It was poor Kutchipatchi dying! I can't beleive he was paused for 2 years!!! Gotta love those 1997 Tamas for conserving battery power so well. ;) Let's see... Oh yes I have a 2018 P2 Zukitchi here in the group as well. I actually hatched that Christmas day passed and it's been paused a lot as well. So that brings you up to date on those Tamas. This past weekend I decided to hatch a little Yasashii Tamagotchi, my Blue Yasashii to be exact! I figured that this was the perfect time to hatch this big Tama since I can barely go outside the house at the moment. I just hope I can commit to running all these Tamas at once. If I succeed then it will be just like old times again. :) I have Hoppetchi at the moment, age 2, and 4 lines of discipline. Today I hatched ANOTHER Tama. :) Hehe . I managed to fix the pixels somehow in my clear purple P1 so I hatched that up this afternoon and now have a little Marutchi floating around. :) Not sure who I want for my adult but I'll be lucky to get anything I say! My caretaking is definitely not what it was a few years ago. Oh my... I'm drinking a Mikes Hard Berry drink here now... I was writing this this afternoon but then took a break and now I'm back. I am really hoping I get the good teen on Yasashii this time! There's a first time for everything I guess!!?? I'm enjoying the little group I have going right now. All are vintage 90s Tamas, except for that 2018 P2 I got going. I've taken several pictures of them all and put them on the Facebook page which can be found right here. It's been years since I updated the Tamagotchi Pictures section... Maybe I'll take some time and do that this week. First log after months of not writing is always so disorganized. Hopefully my next log will be sooner and more organized. ;) |
