14/6/2016: Well for the first time in a long time, I have taken a weeks break from my blogs and website and it was definitely needed. I didn't really do anything out of my regular routine, but I did take some impromtu time off from work late last week because I just wasn't feeling the greatest. It was okay tho! I will probably take a couple of days to finish this blog. I guess I will start off at Wednesday since that was the first day I took away from my website. I was down to just two Tamas at that point, but I knew that wouldn't last for long as I was really missing having more going. On Wednesday evening I really wasn't feeling my best, so I went to bed early that night. And when I woke up the next day it was clear to me that I was really run down. My stomach was bad, I didn't want to eat, and I just felt all around bad. I decided I needed to call into work and I am glad I did. I slept the whole morning and didn't wake up until 1pm. That day was one of rest and cuddling with my cats which was healing in and of itself. :) That evening I was feeling a little better so I decided to go up to Lauras and hang out with her and Donald. Laura had to go and run some last minute errands so myself and Mom stayed with Donald. That night was a lot of fun and took my mind of a lot of the stresses that were on my mind. I played with Donald lots, gave him his bath, got him in his bed time clothes and watched his shows with him. My mind is always at peace when I am over there. :) It was a great night as it always is when I am there. I ended up staying home the next day as well. Friday was much better for sure. Late that afternoon I was getting my things ready to go out to the cottage for the night. This had been planned weeks ago and I was excited to have the chance to get away from the city for a day. As I was packing my things up I decided I needed to hatch another Tama. I thought about it for a few minutes and decided to hatch my clear blue with yellow buttons P1. This is my favourite P1 Tama and I really miss Ginji so I have decided to try and get him back on my Tama again. My Babitchi hatched on our way out the door and by the time we made it to the cottage he had become a Marutchi. :) That night at the cottage was a lot of fun. I was finally away from the city and I was with my Mom and my aunt, two of my favourite people in the world. And I had Mimitchi there with me! Oh and my dog, Marty was with us as well. So it was a really wonderful time with loved ones, humans, animals and Tamas. :) We got there around 7pm and had pizza from a place up the road and it was great. We all relaxed in the wreck room which has a big wood stove in it and then decided to watch the movie Titanic, one of our all time favourite watches. Early on watching we decided to get the woodstove ready for a fire since it was pretty cold outside that night. It was so nice and cozy! I had Marty cuddled up next to me and my Tamas laid out beside me. Mimitchi, Marutchi and Digi (whom is now Greymon btw) got to enjoy the evening with us. Some of the nicest times of my life have been spent out to that cottage and I was blessed to be out there that Friday night for sure. Saturday I slept in and had my Tamas on pause cept Digi who was fine. I slept until about 10am and when I got up we made brunch - bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, the works. :) It was yummy!! We cleaned everything up and made our way back to town just shortly after noon time. I spent some time over at Matts place once I got home and we battled our DigiMons a bit. We hung out all afternoon and then had dinner. Matts friend Brandon came and hung out then and we all went for a big drive around the city. I had Mimitchi out the whole time. We were definitely driving around for a good two hours. We had a lot of laughs and stayed out till about 10pm. After that I had to get home because my Mom and I had to go out and meet my aunt at the airport. She came out for the week and it was really great to see her. Very emotional too since she is my Dads sister and this is her first time back home since the funeral. I got to spend some good time with her and we got time to talk about things which was nice. That is part of the reason I took a break from running several Tamas and blogging. Sunday was another relaxing day. I spent all of it over at Matts place because my Mom and aunt went out of the city for the day to visit our other family members. I decided to stay in town because I wasn't feeling the best and I knew I would get lots of time with my aunt in the days after. So I stayed over to Matts place all day and we made sushi! It was delcious! Been too long since we made some good sushi. :) I should have taken pics! It was gorgeous looking. I was pretty anxious that Sunday night due to having to go back to work the next day, and sleep didn't come easy that night. I stayed up as late as I could playing with Mimitchi, just waiting to feel tired and I finally just had to turn the lights out and try and sleep. I was very tired at work the next day but I made it through. The week has gotten progressivly easier anxiety wise. Tuesday night I hung out with my friend Melissa from work. It was really nice because we both have anxiety and we had never spent any time together outside of work. We met up at Starbucks for a couple of hours and chatted till she had to get back home again. We are definitely gonna hang out again because we just have so much in common. Always fun to make new friends. And I think she would even be ok with my Tamas if I told her about them, so hey it's a win win. :) If you haven't noticed I have been kinda writing this over a period of a couple of days. So it is really unorganized and messy. But I am just not used to taking long breaks from blogging hehe. So I guess I will tell you about my current running Tamas now! My clear blue P1 was sick today (the 15th) and he will change tomorrow! I really hope I manage to get Ginji! Mimitchi is of age and will pass away soon. He was sick at the age of 19 and is 21 today. I haven't really been pausing him so he will probably pass away tomorrow or the next day. As for my DigiMon, he ended up becoming Greymon and Matt got the worst adult, Numemon again. I was disappointed, but I will keep on trying for new characters in the future. We have kept on battling them and my Greymon has a 60% victory level. :) Tuesday afternoon when I got home from work I decided to hatch another Tama, a P2 Tama which is a mustard brown camouflage deco. I *really* wanna try for Hashizotchi, the best of unhealthy characters as I haven't had him yet. I have been neglecting him but I am not sure if I will acheive it or not. He is still a Tonmarutchi at present so I hope I manage to get the beak and then hopefully Hashziotchi if I am lucky. :) One thing I have been doing during my break from blogging is getting my Tamagotchi Ocean page ready. Yes I am gonna take the plunge at the end of the work week and finally hatch this needy little Tama. Shawn and I are both going to try and raise them together and see if we can raise them to adulthood. I don't care who I get, just as long as I get an adult. :) My plan is to hatch it when I get home from work on Friday and then have to weekend to care for it. I will have to go to work Monday but I am hoping the weekend will give me a head start at getting it to adulthood. That is my plan right now.... It could change, but the page is ready to go so all I need to do now is hatch and raise the Tama. Is it sad that I am nervous? :P Hahahah. When I hatch Ocean I will only have five Tamas going. I am really hoping that I can get Ocean to adulthood, but I could fail miserably as I know a lot of caretakers have a lot of trouble getting it to adulthood. Only time will tell I guess... I have two more days before I plan to hatch it so updates will be posted when I do. :) So that has been my week away from my computer. It wasn't particulary eventful, but that was it! I shall update you all when my group of Tamas change and when I hatch Ocean. :) Back to main page |
