29/10/2015: When I woke up this morning, I had a feeling it was going to be Mimitchi's last day with me for a while, so I decided to wake him up at 8:00 when I got into work. I fed and played with him the whole morning while I worked away at my desk.... It was a great time. :) Well, then I was writing an email to my boss at 11:20, and looked down to see that Mimitchi was in his little bed, resting up for his trip back home....! I set aside what I was writing and watched as he laid me a new egg. I had a wonderful 21 days with this little one. I was glad I never missed his departure. That is why I had him right in front of me all morning. :) I have never really managed to get Mimitchi to live past 21 years, except one time in September when I got him to 23. I love having him around at all times, and I don't like to pause him like I do with my other Tamas. In fact Mimitchi was the only Tama I didn't pause in this group of ten that I raised during this last month. I had him awake at all times with me. :) I hatched the egg he left me at 11:21, and began raising my little Shirobabitchi. By the time my lunch hour came and went, I had Tonmarutchi back. :) Once again I shall do the best I can to get Mimitchi back. Work was hectic today, but having my Tams with me made it fun. :) Aside from the death of Mimitchi, today has been quiet. Masukutchi and Zukitchi are demanding but haven't left yet. I let poor Zukitchi beep for attention a lot today. Work was just so busy, and I had to choose caring for my newly hatched Mimitchi-To-Be over Zukitchi at times. I paused Ginji for a portion of the day because I definitely didn't want to neglect him! I had so much work to get finished today. I didn't get home from work until after 8 this evening. Hopefully things will calm down after this week is over. Once the majority of the people left work today I was able to have my Tams out on my desk. My job really is a one person kind of job, but I have people coming and going around me all the time, so I have to keep the sound off on all my Tamas. But now I must go and get ready for bed. Tomorrow is Friday thankfully, but I anticipate having to go into work for a bit this weekend. I don't really mind though because I will have my Tamas there with me. I am going to dive right into work and concentrate on getting sweet Mimitchi back. :) Update: Zukitchi passed away the very next day at 12:59 P.M. He was 21.. But he died full and happy. That is the longest living Zukitchi ever! |
