Thursday, October 1, 2020:  I took yet another really long break in between updating again.... Although shortly after I last posted here I did quite a few entries over in the Yasashii Tamagotch Blogs and some logs over in the 90s Tamagotchi section (where everything began nearly 5 years ago).... I can't believe I've had this site for 5 years now. And I can't get over just how much has happened in the last number of years since I stopped updating.  I would love to get back to updating again like I did many years ago, but I can never seem to commit to it long-term anymore...

On September 29th I put a battery in my purple V1 Connection for the first time in a year.  I downloaded back Juls, a Gen11 Kinakomotchi who was in stasis for months before the battery died. I really missed running the Connections and after reconnecting with an old friend a week back I was determined to get back to running at least one. :)  I'm also running a Japanese Devilogtchi at the moment, and if I get a new character I will definitely update the Devilgotchi page in the coming week.

I'm in the midst of more mental health stuff again so I don't know if I will be able to commit to this blog, but I am going to give it a try and see what happens.

Sunday, October 4, 2020: The beginning of October has gotten off to a really shaky start... But I'm not giving up hope yet. My Devilgotchi teen passed away yesterday morning because the DP went too high, and I had been out with a friend the night before.  I have had Juls paused on and off the last few days but she is now the healthy teen Itchigotchi.  I'm thinking about what I want to hatch next... I'm not sure if I want to download back some of my Connections, or raise some more 90s versions....  And I can't make up my mind where I want to write.  I keep going back and forth between my original Tama logs and these Connection blogs... I honestly love both blogs and their layouts.

On a non-Tama related note: I have pages and pages of hand written notes that I need to type into the Animal Crossing section.  I had the html page all ready for when the game came out in March and then never got around to doing anything with it. Lots to do and keep busy with... I need to keep my mind healthy and busy.

Monday, October 5, 2020: I just finished (with the help of Matthew) updating my MacBook Pro to Mac OS Catalina.  I was very skeptical about the whole thing but I've been using it for the last half hour now and everything seems to be working better than ever.  I love this MacBook so dearly.  I bought it in July of 2014 and only started having issues with it a few months ago. Let's hope everything is smooth sailing from here on out. :)

Juls is still an Itchigotchi and I haven't restarted the Devilgotchi yet. Matthew put up some more Halloween lights in the bedroom and they look great.  I can't wait to see them in full action later this evening when it gets dark. :) I love !!

4:30PM: I just restarted my Devilgotchi and have Devil Zukitchi with 30DP. I hope I can keep him alive this time!! I'm going to try and play games with him this time even though snacks don't seem to affect his growth in a bad way.  The last 3 runs I only fed snacks.  I need to look through my Devilgotch blog pages and see what characters I am missing...

Non Tama-Related: I just looked through my notes for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and I stopped writing in May which means I missed out on everything from the summer time.  I did make several tweets about my progress but it is really not the same thing. :( ::sigh sigh sigh::.. I really got behind on everything.  But all is not lost... I can always blog about Summer events next year. I have lots to keep me busy over the next week.... But I'm actually really looking forward to this.

9:01PM: I completely lost track of time and Juls went to bed at 8:00PM.  We had a late dinner this evening but it was delicious -- lots of crunchy veggies and greens.  Devil Zukitchi just went to bed a moment ago at 9PM and I'm going to listen for fireworks throughout the evening...! Heh.  I will turn the sound off when it's bedtime for me.  Matthew and I are watching some Halloween movie called Stories to Tell in the Dark... Not my cup of tea but it's Halloween themed so I'll put up with it. The Amazon Prime account has a ton of Halloween themed movies and I think I'm definitely going to invest in a membership as there are lots more movies there than on Netflix.

Tuesday, October 6, 2020: Today has been a great day so far! I was up for my Tamas at 9:30 and had a telephone appointment at 11AM.  Last night after the Tams went to bed, Matt and I watched another movie, Friday the 13th 4: The final Chapter.  It was good! I love the Friday the 13th movies and I think I'm going to re-watch them now that I have Amazon Prime for the next month.  They are scary but not TOO scary, if you know what I mean. :) This afternoon we watched Halloween (1978), Followed by Friday the 13th 1 (1980). I think this evening we will watch some comedy... Or maybe a series.

I've decided to keep the DP to the lowest possible number with Devil Zukitchi. I love the look of the worst adult on the chart!

Wednesday, October 7, 2020: Today hasn't been the best day but it's definitely not been the worst either.  I was up 9:30 again this morning which is really good. And then I did a stressful but worth while phone call around 11:30AM.  I was able to calm down a little after that but I've been reeling on and off all day....

Juls changed into a Masktchi today.  Love this character!

Tuesday, October 13, 2020: Juls gave birth to a baby boy today via the matchmaker. :) I still don't know if I want to download another Connection Tam or just keep the purple V1 going.  Devil Zukitchi changed into a Bakebebritchi days back and I expect a change into adulthood very soon...! We made tomatoe and basil pasta this evening -- fresh tomatoes and fresh basil.  Healthy and delicious!

Wednesday, October 14, 2020: I had to pause my Tamas when I got up this morning as I was not feeling well and had a very broken sleep last night.  I'm really hoping that Devilgotch changes into his adult form today!!! It seems like such a long process with the Devilgotchis. I may need to pause again this afternoon for my telephone meeting..  My Devilgotchi changed into the crow Debirudori.  I am disappointed to have gotten this character again but Shawn made a good point saying that I can try for King Deviltchi, who I've not yet had.  I will give it my best shot!

I did end up having to pause Juls and Devil this afternoon after my meeting was over.  I was so tired and ended up napping for quite a few hours.  I'm hoping tomorrow will be better!!

Sunday, October 18, 2020: I had meant to write numerous times since I last wrote on Wednesday but things kept getting in the way.  Regardless, this weekend has been much better than the last one; and even though I was not feeling well yesterday, it was really not all that bad.   Juls has left her baby boy in my care but I haven't gotten around to raising him yet. And I've had quite a few close calls with Debirudori where I've let the DP rise above 90.  I am surprised he hasn't died on me yet! And I fear I won't get the secret character, King Deviltchi.

Oh yes I forgot to mention that I came across my paused clear green P1 yesterday and there is a needy Ginjirotchi residing.  I am going to try and spend time with the little guy-- so cute! I may even raise another P1/P2 after Ginji passes away... but I am not sure when that will be.

Matt, Mom and myself will be going out for dinner now in about two hours.  We are going to eat in at Swiss Chalet which we haven't done since before the pandemic started.  I am going to bring Debirudori with me.

Later: We had a great dinner out! Very full now! :) Debirudori beeped for a hand shake right before going into the restaurant and if he made anymore noise after that I have no idea because it was rather loud in there.

I just took my Ginjirotchi off pause and have him sitting beside Debirudori and I've gotten to thinking about this website and how many different blogs are within.  I want to find a way to write that is more organized than bouncing back and forth between here and the Tamagotchi Blogs page.... But I guess it really doesn't matter.  I've been reading Aurora Minui's Virtual Pet Page via Wayback Machine and even though the website is like a labrynth of links, it is absolutely BRILLIANT!  I am loving viewing old websites on Wayback Machine these last two days.  I am getting so nostalgic reading through things I haven't seen in 15 years. I got to see Aurora's page very briefly back in 2006 before it fell off the face of the earth, and I didn't have the time to read it in depth like I am now.  I am very happy to be able to do this -- Thanks Shawn!!! :D

I've spent all evening looking at webpages on wayback machine.  I am having so much fun but also getting a lot of inspiration at the same time....

Monday, October 19, 2020: I had my Tams paused for the majority of today because Matt and I went out walking in the woods and then we went shopping. I got a ton of new clothes and even got a little jacket for Binks!! :) Soooo cute!

I named the baby boy that Juls left behind just now at 7:45PM. His name is Gabe and his a Babitchi at the moment. I haven't raised a V1 from start to finish in a while now so I hope he turns out ok!

Gabe just changed into a Marutchi and went promptly to sleep. :) I have Ginjirotchi and Debirudori here with me watching the movie Porky's from the 1980s... I'm only half watching it as I am getting lost in more of Aurora Minui's Virtual Pet Page. :D

Tuesday, October 20, 2020: Well I am having a great day, but sadly I can't say the same for my Debirudori. I was on the phone with my friend China having a wonderful (long overdue) chat and lost track of time. I let the DP go over 90 and he died a bad ending... Oooopps! I don't know if I'm going to raise another Devil or not.. Just didn't have much luck with it this year.

Gabe the Marutchi is doing just fine and he is spending time with me while I wait for my pizza to heat in the oven.

Wednesday, October 28, 2020: Well it's been over a week since I last wrote and I've had some major slip ups. I am feeling a lot of shame... I slipped up badly. My Tams are doing just fine though however.  Gabe is now an Oniontchi and I revived my clear blue V2 named Rix who is a Kinakomotchi. I'm debating starting more... Or downloading other Connections that I have with dead batteries.  I will not be restarting the Devilgotchi anytime soon....

I have another telephone interview in an hour and I'm really nervous. Last week went well but I'm not feeling so great about today's session. :(

1:41PM:  .::Tick tick tick::. still waiting for my telephone call and the anxiety is growing.  I took Ginji off pause for a moment and then paused him again.  I have Gabe and Rix sitting beside me while I wait.

3:34PM:  Things went fairly well during my phone call.  I am really not sure what I'm doing or when I will ever obtain work again.  I feel like nobody.  I want to carve pumpkins...! Maybe later on this evening I will do just that...!

3:53PM: Rix just changed into an Itchigotchi! My heart! Oh so sweet! And I just let the hunger hearts fall for the third time on Gabe... I really do hope I can get Androtchi the robot!! I did it two years ago and I know I can do it again!

I'm thinking of any other Halloween/Scary movie I've missed watching in the last two months.  Halloween is approaching fast! And now it will be time to start watching happy holiday themed movies in November and December... :)

9:40PM: The other day when I grabbed my clear blue V2 from Moms, I also took my white/red/teal Japanese Keitai (the Japanese V2). I just downloaded my character, and it's a generation 2 Kutchipatchi named Seta. She has been downloaded back from June 2019. :) Soooo now I'm running a total of 3 Connection Tams.

Friday, October 30, 2020: I just finished up my last telephone appointment for the week and it's been a successful one.  Gabe and Rix are sitting here with me while I decide on what I want to eat this morning. Both Tams are still in their teen stage.  Seta is in the bedroom on pause... I'm just not sure what to do about that Keitai at the moment. I do love it but I don't know how to use any of the Japanese screens. I really need to do some YouTube research on this Tama.

I've been checking online every day to see if I can find myself a Santaclautch but no luck at all.  I am only willing to go through Japan You Want for Tamagotchi purchases.  My eBay days are long over because the shipping prices are outrageous. And if I even do manage to find a Santagotch at this point, I don't know if I would have it in time for December 1st... ::sigh:: Maybe next year...

Saturday, October 31, 2020:  To everyone out there today!! We carved a pumpkin and Mom put out treats at the bottom of the porch steps for the kids.  Great evening! And we had chinese food for supper! Now to tell you about my Tamas.

Gabe changed into a Memetchi the other evening which I was a little disappointed about. I'll try for Androtchi/Hanatchi on my next run. Seta had a visit from the matchmaker and mated with a buck toothed Debatchi. She now has a baby boy alongside her. :)
