Monday, March 1, 2021:  My Bobo Panda Byte made it to 5 years old this morning and changed into the same form that he was before he reset last week! This stage is so much fun because he eats all the different foods and does so much *more* activity wise! I love the Bobo Panda Byte so much.  I am going to add more to that page as the days progress.  I hope he doesn't reset on me again....!  As for Buddy, he is still going strong at the age of 68! I can't believe I have managed to keep him around for so long.  I love him so much!

Wednesdsay, March 3, 2021, 2:24PM: Things are getting easier with my Bobo Panda Byte who I've gotten into just calling "Bobo". However, this morning he got sick two times and I think that was because I was on the phone for hours with a friend last night and didn't get to him in time before he went to bed for the night.  Today I've successfully been able to wash his face and give him a bath, in addition to his daily exercises that he wasn't able to do until he matured to 5 years of age (he is 7 today). I can't wait to see what he grows into when he turns 10 in 3 days! :) I will be happy with any of the five adult characters just as long as I get him to adulthood.

Buddy is 70 years old today! Wow! I am so happy he is still going strong. :)

Saturday, March 6, 2021: Much has happened with Bobo Panda Byte over the last two days and I haven't been around to write.  Yesterday morning while I was still half asleep, I heard Bobo make that familiar changing tune that he always does at 10AM.  That seems to be the time he changes always! Well upon close inspection I saw that he had changed into one of the five adult pandas named "Nini". :) He looked so cute on the screen!  And he changed a day earlier than I anticipated.  Things went very smoothly yesterday.  I've been able to give him baths and wash his face.   Another thing that happened was Bobo had a romantic visitor -- I looked at his screen around noon yesterday to find another Panda there, and then they kissed!! So cute!! He is still going to bed each night at 9PM and waking up 9AM.

So today I am once again in bed sleeping in and I heard *another* changing tune.  I picked up Bobo to see he had changed into yet another adult!  He has an all black body now and his name is "Jasper".  I am very confused as to why this happened.... Will I end up with another adult character tomorrow??  I really have no idea.  Things haven't been going so well today since he changed either.  I have had to give him medicine about 5 different times today because there was a skull on the screen.  I hope he doesn't die on me!! I'm worried that I've done something wrong.... He also had another visitor today but this one hurt his feelings and then there was a broken heart on the screen and he began to cry. I praised him and that seemed to make him feel better.....

Sunday, March 7, 2021: This morning I slept past 9am as per usual, but Buddy's health went down.  Last night I fed him right before he went to bed, and then he pooped as soon as he got up this morning at 7AM.   I didn't clean him up until around 9:30 and by that time his health had gone down to 88.  This is not good -- all GigaPet's health need to be 95 and above after the age of 20 in order to live on.  After a trip to the vet and very close attention, I got Buddy's health back up to 100 by this evening.   I won't be feeding him before bed like that again, heheh..!!   Bobo is still the character of "Japsper" and thankfully hasn't gotten sick today.

9:41PM:  Well I got slack and Buddy is still awake long after his bedtime. I accidentally lost track of time and then fed him two meals.....! His health and happiness are both at 100 so I don't see the harm in him staying up late just for tonight. ;-) I just want to make sure he is all clean and good before I put him to sleep so that we don't have a repeat of this morning...!

Wednesday, March 10, 2021, 10:41PM: Things are still moving along with Bobo. I am not really sure about what determines the different characters I keep getting. Since the age of 10, Bobo was the character "Jasper". Well, this morning at 10AM Bobo turned 14 and changed into yet another adult character. He no longer has an all black body and I think this characters name is "Jumbo".  I don't understand why this virtual pet goes back and forth between different adult characters...! It just doesn't make sense to me. I don't know if I will do a second run with the Bobo Panda Byte or not when this one passes away.... Yesterday he ended up getting sick about 4 different times again throughout the day.  He has also had his heart broken daily which is really sad to see. Every day at 12PM another Panda comes to visit and then a broken heart animation happens every time, with poor Bobo getting rejected by the other panda.

Bobo and Buddy have both been sleeping while Matt and I watch "American Horror Story".   This show has been around for years but I'm only now watching it.  Matthew watched it years ago but is excited for me to be watching it with him now...!

Thursday, March 11, 2021: Bobo  turned 15 years old at 10am this morning but has remained the same character that he changed into yesterday. I'm still fairly certain that it is the character of "Jumbo".  Some of the adults in the instructions look the same as they aren't pixel images of what they look like on the actual screen.  I really love this virtual pet!  I have been able to dress him for all three elements of the weather during his lifetime so far (Rain, Wind & Sun), and he is much better at taking a bath and washing his face now. I try and do the different exercises with him at least once daily (swinging, hula-hoop, golfing, swimming/snorkeling & lifting weights). I praise him whenever I don't feel like playing either of the games with him and that fills his happy hearts. :) I do like playing the games with him but sometimes I just don't have time.

Bobo and Buddy have both been watching me play lots of "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" and "Stardew Valley" on the Nintendo switch.  They've also been watching along to various cooking videos and other things on YouTube.  I've been slowly getting into a book called "Grace Notes", a biography by my one of my favorite actresses, Katey Sagal from "Married with Children". I simply adore her!   They were both asleep for the 3 episodes of "American Horror Story" we watched last night and I think I will wait until they go to bed tonight before we start watching again. ;)  I was never hyped on the idea of watching this show but once I saw that Jessica Lange played in it I just couldn't resist!!! I haven't been this excited over a show in a while.... Maybe we will make some popcorn before watching.

Monday, March 15, 2021: Buddy and Bobo continue in good health.  I can't believe how fast time has gone by, especially with Buddy -- He is 82 years old!! I have had a couple of close calls where his health has gone below 95, but other than that he has been easy to care for.  Both Buddy and Bobo have been watching along to scenes of "American Horror Story" but I have a love-hate relationship with the show...... I don't know if I will be able to continue watching or not.

I have my Osutchi Mesutchi Tamagotchi pair at my bedside table, in their respective packaging.   I don't know if I will be ready to raise these Tams just yet...! I have been wanting to do another run since I last raised them in 2017..... Or was it 2016....? I'm loosing track of time.  Either way, the Osutchi Mesutchi page may be updated again soon.

Thursday, March 18, 2021: Bobo changed back into the character of Jasper this morning while I was still sleeping....! I just don't know why I've had two of the same adults twice!  Oh well! He is 22 years old today and still fairly easy to care for. I was busy yesterday so he spent a lot of the day on pause (watching TV) and I resumed care for him in the early evening.   Today -- No TV!  But he, as well as Buddy watched the documentary "The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel" with me this afternoon and into this evening. It was a good watch for sure...! Sad but good!  I think Matthew wants to watch more "American Horror Story" which I will definitely take part in, but I think I am also going to play some "Stardew Valley" at the same time.   I've also been checking in on my town of Ginjro on "Animal Crossing: New Horizons". :-) Lots to do during this lock-down.   I will see about hatching Osutchi Mesutchi soon!

Friday, March 19, 2021: Bobo spent all day on pause today and then put himself to sleep at 9PM (10PM NL time since I wasn't able to figure out how to change Panda Byte's time after the hour changed).  I think I will definitely do another run with the Bobo Panda Byte after this one passes away.  I've yet to see the full life cycle and ending/death.  I am thankful that he hasn't reset on me again!   I want to see just how long I can keep him alive for....!

Monday, March 22, 2021: Things took a bad turn with Bobo today. :-( He woke up at his usual time at 9AM and things were going fine.  I fed and played with him and did my morning rituals.  I knew he was going to be turning 26 come 10AM because that is the time that he turns a day older each day.  Well.... 10AM came and instead of turning a day older, he died. :( I couldn't believe it.  I heard a series of different beeps that I'd never heard before and then he died.  It's actually the worst death scene I've ever seen on a virtual pet.... I kept him on the death screen for a while but then couldn't look at it anymore.  I'm going to raise another Panda Byte at some point... Soon...!  I really miss the little guy already!

Tuesday, March 23, 2021: I really got used to having my Bobo Panda Byte around so another baby panda was born this evening at 7:40PM.  This one's name is Mae Mobley after my sweet Hamster who passed away in late November....! She was a great little girl, and according to the instructions this virtual pet is actually a female (she pronouns).  I am hoping to get the character of "Clown" this time. :) I think that is the only character I did not get from the ones pictured in the instruction pamphlet.  I'm not going to scold her this time as I didn't find it beneficial with my last two Panda Byte's.    In her early life she has gotten to watch me play "Stardew Valley" and "Animal Crossing".   And now we are watching an episode of "American Horror Story" EEEKK!!

Buddy turned 90 years old today! This is definitely my oldest ever living key-chain pet! :-)

I was thinking about starting my Osutchi Mesutchi pair but not today.  I will get to them soon!

Monday, March 29, 2021: A lot went on in the last couple of days but I am only now getting around to writing about it.  Buddy died/went home yesterday morning at the old age of 95.  I knew he wasn't going to make it because his health had gone way down on Saturday while I was sleeping and I couldn't get it back up to 95.  I know for sure that this is my longest living virtual pet.  He was a true to his age 95 years since GigaPet's are unable to be paused, so it is really a big deal.  I had this particular Koala around since December 23rd so he got to see a lot during his lifetime.   I already miss the little guy! But with such a long life I've decided I'm not going to raise another Koala just yet.  I'm gonna miss you little Buddy!  I hope you enjoyed your time here with us. :-) <3

As I wrote in my last post, I had restarted my Bobo Panda Byte.  Well something went terribly wrong yesterday just shortly after Buddy died.  Bobo was sick, and no matter how many doses of medicine I gave him, he wouldn't get better.  Then he went into this little pouch on the screen and none of the icon functions would work.  When he would come out of the pouch he was still sick and this went on and on.  I was unable to pause him either.  I had plans to go over to my cousins house and I was going to pause Bobo but was unable to.... So I had to leave him there sick/in his pouch.  When I came home he was on the death screen..... I don't know what went wrong.... I guess I just didn't take as good care of him as I did my last ones.   I will raise another Bobo Panda soon but not just yet.

TODAY!! I started my Osutchi Mesutchi Tamagotchi pair which I have had sitting by my bedside table since February. :) I haven't raised these wonderful Tams since late 2016 (and then into early 2017).  I love these Tams very much and they are very near and dear to my heart.  I may update my Osutchi Mesutchi page which also contains a separate set of blogs written from back in the day with pictures and animations.   Stay tuned for updates on George (Osutchi) and Holly (Mesutchi). :)

George and Holly are both the toddler/child character Mohitamatchi who I have always loved and adored.  Basically this is a Marutchi with a mohawk!  Cuteness overload!!! In their early life they have already gotten to watch episodes of "Golden Girls", "Gilmore Girls" and "Unsolved Mysteries".  They've also watched along to a couple of hours of Nintendo Switch "Animal Crossing" and "Stardew Valley".
