Friday, November 1, 2024:  I've had a couple of departures as well as a hatching since the last time I wrote on October 27th.  The day after I wrote I had two deaths one after the other: Mametchi (white/black) left at 21, followed by my very old 31 year Bill (purple/pink) who left shortly before bedtime that night.  I was so amazed that Bill made it that long!  I still have him on the angel screen. :) It was a milestone to have one live that long.  I look forward to getting the other secret characters (both US and Japanese) someday soon.  I don't think my clear blue Masukutchi will be changing into the secret character as I've missed a few disciplines as well as left the lights on at bedtime one night.  That's alright.... I will get each of the characters all in good due time.

I got a Hashizotchi on my blue lightening Tama on Oct. 30th!  I am soooo happy to have both Kutchipatchi and Hashizotchi, the two cousins at the same time.  Leaving the lights on four nights in a row got me Hashizotchi and I am so beyond pleased.  I prefer leaving the lights on as apposed to letting them go hungry or unhappy to be honest.  It's a much more humane way of getting the unhealthy ones and I will be passing this information onto Kat, Jacob and Joanna (Country Mouse) as I know they will value those tips.  Shawn is the one who gave me the tip about leaving the lights on at night, but I am not sure where that information came from originally.  I have opted out of tips for so many years, but I am happy to have finally given in.

As for my 90's design P1 that I hatched earlier this week -- he is currently in the Tamatchi stage.  I ignored one discipline and left the lights on one night and I am *praying* this will result in him becoming a Ginjirotchi.  I have very high hopes for this since I was so successful with getting a Hashizotchi. :) If this works out then I foresee many Ginji's in my future! This is wonderful timing, just in time for the holiday season!  I will definitely want at least one Ginji and a Mimitchi to be around for the Christmas season.

I bought another Tamagotchi off eBay this week for a fairly decent price!  It is one of the original colours that was released in 2018, the rodamine red with yellow trim and buttons P1. Funnily enough I also have this one in a 1997 model.  I just couldn't resist it since the price was good and it's an original colour.  I will definitely be hatching this one when it arrives.  As Kat said the other day -- Tamas are meant to be played with and loved, not kept in a box for safe keeping.  I will need to do a new count of my remake collection, but I think this will bring me up to a total of 16 remake Tamagotchi including my two DigiMon's that I just got. :) I just know I am going to get more.... I know I shouldn't but I just cannot help myself.  All these new remake colours are so beautiful!  Kat and Joanna understand completely.

I hatched my argyle hearts design P2 two days ago and have a little Tonmarutchi on there with full discipline!  I don't really have a particular character in mind but maybe I'll get a Mimitchi?  My current Mimitchi is *very* demanding.

I am going to post this blog to the main page now but I have a feeling I will be back to update later.  Mimitchi is very demanding at age 23, and I know Kutchipatchi won't be around for much longer being that he is 11 years old now and the unhealthy ones never stay long....!  I wish they could all live as long as Bill did but it's just not in their programming.  I may pause the needy ones when I go out Tama hunting later.  I'm going to hit up Walmart, Toys R Us and Game Stop to check their stock of Tamagotchi Originals.  I'd love to find the Ocean design P2 Tama-- so cute!!

Update:  Well this afternoon I heard changing music while I was laying down with my Tams all laid out next to me.  I thought for sure it was my 90s design P1 Tam, but it was my argyle hearts P2 changing into the healthy teen of Tongaritchi.  I kept a close eye on my little Tamatchi knowing that he would be changing soon too... It seemed to take forever but I finally heard that familiar changing tune once again and it was the moment I'd been waiting for..... I got Ginji back!! Yes yes yes!!!! I posted a picture to my instagram immediately.  I definitely know a set method to get Ginjirotchi now and I'll never forget it.   I've been soooo happy since I got Ginji back a few hours ago because up until then I wasn't having the greatest day anxiety wise.  Getting Ginji made things much better for sure.   Sadly when I write next it will most likely be to say that Mimitchi, Hashizotchi and Kutchipatchi passed away, but for now they are all still here and happy as can be. :) Matthew is cleaning the carpets at the moment, but later we are all going to watch a documentary together -- and the Tams too. :)

Oh yes another thing I forgot to mention is that I went to Toys R Us this morning after writing the first part of this blog.  I had a nice look around but sadly they only had GigaPet's for sale.  I am not in GigaPet mode at the moment -- everything is revolving around Tamagotchi.  Either way it was still nice to see the GigaPets all lined up there with the Furby's!  There is a digital doggie, a bunny rabbit, and floppy frog GigaPet!  I already own the remake of the floppy frog but I've not raised it yet.... Anyways this is a Tama log.  For now I am off to care for my little ones and find what we are going to watch on Plex later. Catch ya laters. :D
