17/1/2025: Well what can I say? It's been an amazing week with a lot of amazing progress mental health wise and Tamagotchi wise. I really didn't think 2025 would be looking this good, but hey, I am just going to go with the flow and take it as it comes. :) On Wednesday evening I was waffling over which Tamagotchi I wanted to hatch next. I was already running 6 but I figured what's one more? :) I decided on my peach/yellow 2017 Japanese Gen1! I haven't gotten the Japanese secret characters on my re-release Tams yet so I figured there was no time like the present to give it a try. I have had this lovely little peach Tam in my possession since January of 2018 so I put a new battery in before starting him. I currently have a Marutchi with 75% discipline. Next up, Tamatchi and the Masukutchi! Can't wait! Yesterday morning while I was still sleeping at 6:30am I heard that ever so familiar tune that I remember from my 1997 Angels. My Futagotenshi twins on my Lovely Angel ascended into heaven during their sleep. They were only 14 years/days old... However their age never advanced past age 8 which I only ever had that issue with my Devilgotch. Strange indeed. Thankfully my twins ended in the 'good' ending and made it to heaven. Well I wasted no time in restarting my Lovely Angel once I was awake yesterday. I now have the unhealthy teen of Takoten who I am giving perfect care and AP to. I love my Gen3's so much. My twins on the Dreamy Angel are still here thankfully. :) Their actual age is 9, but they are stuck at 8... Very very strange indeed. I hope I can make these ones live longer than 14! All the while I had been taking perfect care of my white/green cartoon Tamagotchi this week and this morning he changed into a Mimitchi, just like I had worked and hoped for. :) I am so glad to have him back again on this Tam - especially since my Mimitchi on the space galaxy Tam is 23 today and *very* demanding. Ginji (Macy's Tam) is also getting a little on the demanding side at 17. I think I will definitely start another Gen1 at some point to get Ginji back. I just adore those two... :) Last but not least we have my 21 year old Unimon on my black DigiMon! He is showing barely any sign of demand and very easy to care for. I maxed his weight out long ago to 99 units, and I've given up battling him because I don't want to risk killing him in a fight. Unimon will live out his days peacefully with the rest of my Tams, the way it should be. :) So that is my Tamagotchi situation! My life situation is that I've been working very hard on getting out of the apartment all this week. And my Tamas have been along for the ride! I went to the mall 3 times this week which I never thought I'd be able to do. I've just re-gained back some of my independence that I've not had for many years now due to anxiety and depression. I really do have hope for the future... And I owe it all to my family, my friends, and my healthcare professionals. The world is a scary place and being in the virtual pet community just makes it all a little less scary. I leave you with this video for today! I would LOVE to meet some of these people someday. :) Update: Okay, so I am back because some major things happened! First off, I just joined discord and my username is ginji0722. Next off, I wasn't paying attention and my poor Marutchi went to bed in poop. :~( Then right after that poor Mimitchi died at the old age of 23 on my space galaxy Tam. For real 23 - I only paused him once! He was my Christmas Day hatching.... I'll miss him. Agggh I just hate that my Marutchi went to bed in poop. I think it definitely has an effect on the re-releases. Either way I've decided I won't mess with the time and just clean him up first thing in the morning. I've decided I will put a new battery in my space galaxy Gen2 Tam and aim for a Pochitchi this time. :) Back to 20th Anniversary Tam Page These Pages created by Dennis Ryan 2018-2024 | Background by mimitchi.com |
