24/12/2024: Well it's been a good couple of days! I came back to write another blog just like I said I would. :) Yesterday morning was great! My kutchitamatchi changed into a Kutchipatchi just as I had hoped for. It is sooo nice to have all my favourite characters here with me for Christmas!!! I am just so happy. Another reason for my happiness is that we got SNOW the last two days! I was out driving around doing errands yesterday and out of nowhere it began snowing. We have a beautiful dusting all over the trees and rooftops.... It really does feel like Christmas now. :)
This afternoon while I was doing tag battles with my DigiMon's (clear purple), Banchomamemon got killed in battle and died at age 22. :( Poor ole guy. At least I still have my Skullmammothmon left. He is 21 years old and not at all demanding. I'll be interested to see how long he sticks around for. I am not going to restart another DigiMon until my last one dies. I really like DigiMon and I'm looking forward to getting more characters in the coming New Year. They are even more fun than the original Digi's! Though I am not sure if I will raise two at a time again.... We'll see.
Sadly I won't be getting my Tamagotchi Gen3 Angel until January 16th. As mentioned in my last blog I predicted I wouldn't get it by Dec. 30th and I was correct. Oh well.. I am still going to have a lovely Christmas with Mimitchi, Ginji, Zatchi and Kutchipatchi. :) This has not been an easy year for me... But getting back into re-release Tamagotchi's with Kat at the end of the summer gave me the biggest boost I've had in a long time. This is actually the most peaceful I've felt at Christmas since my Dad died. It's been a longgg time! I am really thankful to be feeling so good this holiday season. Of course things are still challenging, but something is different this year. :) Things just feel ok... And I have my family, friends and Tamas to thank for that! I'm in the game room writing this with my lovely Christmas fountain trickling in the background!
Yesterday the Tams got to watch two Christmas movies: "Elf" and Tyler Perry's "A Madea's Christmas". This afternoon they watched one of my all time childhood favourites "I'll be home for Christmas". I think I've covered all the Christmas movies for another year, eheh. :) They also got to listen to a lot of Christmas songs here at home and while out for drives.
Tomorrow we will all be (Matt, Mom, Eileen, myself) opening gifts here at the apartment. Then we are going to my cousin Laura's for Christmas dinner! There will be a lot of people there so I won't have much time for my Tamas. I plan to spend the entire day with my Tamas before we go to dinner at 6PM. Before we know it Christmas will all be over and it'll be 2025! I hope there will be lots of new Tamagotchi adventures this coming year.... I have a good feeling. :) I asked Matthew if I could open a gift tonight but he knew I was going to go straight for the purple galaxy Gen2 Tama (I figured out which present it's in... ;)) so he said I had to wait till morning. :P Oh well! Off to care for my little Tams I go! Below is a picture of my current group! Merry Christmas everyone!!
