12/12/2024: It has been a longgg time since I've written a log, or I've just really spaced out the last six days. Either way I've got quite a bit to talk about so this blog may be a little longer than others! Kat said that time flies when you have Tamas long ago in 1997, and that is still true in 2024. :) I've definitely made reference to that here before.. probably back in my 2015 logs. ;) I am tired today because I was driving Matthew around to various appointments at different hospitals and people are crazyyyy. There was also a huge accident by the hospital which I managed to avoid. Phew. I have had many changes since the last time I wrote here on December 6th! I'd like to go in order of occurrence but sometimes that's hard when I've had so many evolutions with my DigiMon's. I'll get to those guys after though! My blue lightening Tama has changed two times since I last wrote. I was totally successful with him, first getting a Zukitchi, and then taking perfect care of him until he changed into the secret character, Zatchi the alien yesterday morning. I am so happy to have him! I think the last time I had Zatchi was back in late 2020 so it's great to see him again on my re-release Tamagotchi. He is just as cute as ever! He's 12 years of age and hopefully has a good long life ahead of him. I'd love to keep him around till the new year but we will see what happens. On December 6th I hatched my kutchipatchi comic Gen1 Tamagotchi. I followed through on my plan of taking the best care of him possible, but ignoring all disciplines and leaving the lights on every single night. I got the healthy teen of Tamatchi because I only let him sleep with the lights on for two nights as a Marutchi. As a Tamatchi he slept with the lights on for 4 nights in a row and woke up to change into a Tarakotchi first thing this morning. :) I am sooooooo happy to have this guy. It feels great to get the worst character without having to toruture and starve the poor thing. I just love Tarakotchi so much! He has those cute legs like masukutchi. I hope he sticks around for a while! I may pause him to extend his life a bit further like I do with my other 'unhealthy' ones. The final Tama I have here before I move onto my DigiMon's is none other than Mimitchi, my 22 year old demanding little fellow! He is very easy to care for though. It seems these remakes don't get as demanding as the 1997 ones did.... Or maybe I just don't realize it because I always have my Tams next to me. Either way I know he doesn't have much time left before he takes off in his space ship. I am going to be restarting this very Tama when he does leave and raise another Mimitchi before Christmas. I plan on hatching my Ginji Comic Tama at the same time, but more on that when it happens. :) My DigiMon's have ALL changed into Mega Evolution stages. I currently have them down for a 3 hour nap and they're down in the living room by the Christmas Tree. I have two generation 1 Blitzgreymon on my black DigiMon and they seem to be a little more on the demanding side. As for my clear purple DigiMon I have mega evolution characters on that one too. The generation 1 character is a Skullgreymon and the generation two is a Bancho Mamemon. It's amazing how much these guys evolve but still have that same charm as the 1997 version 1 Digimon. I'm really enjoying them and definitely plan to raise more Digi's in the future. I am not as attached to the DigiMon's as I am to my Gen1/gen2 original Tamagotchi's, but they sure are fun to raise. :) I am not sure how long they will stick around. The four characters I currently have are in the age 9-13 age range. I Just woke them up from their nap since I will be home now for a few hours and have time for them again. Christmas is just creeping right upon us and we don't have any snow yet....! I would like some snow in the next week or so, but not too much. I've been relatively calm considering I get very anxious this time of year, but I am just taking it all as it comes. My anxiety is unpredictable at best, and I will just do what I can to make sure it's a good, clean holiday for all of us. :) We will probably get some nice alcohol free cider or bubbly to have on Christmas Eve! Or some egg nog! It's been years since I had that stuff -- the alcohol free one. :) I think it's gonna be a good Tamagotchi Christmas for everyone. I get so much enjoyment out of following the other collectors on Instagram. Such a wonderful little community of like minded people. :) Well it is close to 8pm now and Mimitchi just randomly got sick. I nursed him better and I don't think he is going to pass away just yet! :). As soon as he departs I am going to restart his egg and Ginji comic Tamagotchi! Until then....!
