16/11/2024: Well poor old Ginji (dark blue 90's Tama) passed away yesterday at the age of 21, for real 21--no pausing at all. It's nice that Ginji lives a bit longer on the remakes than he did on the 1997 Gen1's as he never even made it to 20 on those ones. I am sure glad to have another Ginji on my clear blue Tama who is only 10! :) Before long I may have a second Ginji again, but I will get more into that in a little bit. My clear green Gen2 changed into Hashizotchi on Thursday morning just as I had hoped for. :) This week has been an exciting one Tamagotchi wise for a few reasons! I will start back a few days ago when it all started. On Thursday I got two packages in the mail shortly after getting Hashizotchi back, one of which was from Kat! She gave me a very special Tamagotchi that I would have been unable to get otherwise, the clear orange Macy's Toys are Us Gen1! I love it soooo much! We wasted no time doing a hatching together that evening. My clear orange Tama is currently 4 years of age, the healthy teen of Tamatchi and 50% discipline. It is such a special Tama that I just know I want a Ginji, but I am unsure if I already ignored a discipline call or not so we will see.....! If not then I'll either get a Mametchi or a Masukutchi. Kat also included several lovely gifts which included a Tamagotchi placemat, a Tama notebook, two Christmas tree decorations, and a *beautiful* 3D printed blue bearded dragon who we've named Gem. :) She also included a card with a ton of adorable smiley faces on it that resemble Marutchi! Sooo adorable...! My day was made! The other package I got was a a rodamine red Gen1 remake Tamagotchi from eBay! I hatched this one last night and I am testing out the lights on method early in the Marutchi stage. I've been taking perfect care of him besides leaving the lights on at night and I believe this will bring me the unhealthy teen just as it brought me Hashizotchi from the 'healthy' teen. :) I am going to be testing out this method on the 1997's soon as I NEVER tried those methods in all my years of raising vintages. More on that another time though! I am actually planning on hatching a 1997 and a 2017 Tamagotchi at exactly the same time in the near future. :) That's how I want to do it anyway. This leaves me with my final Tama to talk about who is none other than my sweet 18 year old Mimitchi on my argyle hearts Tama. He is getting more on the demanding side now but easy to care for and win the game with. I sure do love Mimitchi! I plan on having at least one Mimitchi and Ginji with me for the holidays... Maybe more, who knows. :) My group of Tamas got to watch season 1 of Murphy Brown on Plex over the weekend, a great 80's sitcom I discovered last year. I think they're enjoying it as much as I do. Absolutely love Candice Bergen!! Ok now that I am up to date on writing about my current Tams I have to talk about the next news! Last night Shawn texted me with pictures of two more Tamagotchi Gen3 Angel designs! I just know I'm going to get the party Angel design!! It is soooo gorgeous! I'm sure we will have a better idea of when these ones will be released in the coming weeks. I'm still expecting my Dreamy Angel to arrive on December 9th but Matthew is going to save it as a Christmas present. :D All I want for Christmas is Tamagotchi hehehe. :) So with the two new Tamas I got this week I am up to a grand total of 18 Tamagotchi remakes and I'm sure to hit 20 by Christmas. ;) I never thought I'd have this many!! And if Bandai keeps releasing remakes then I may end up with wayyyyy more. Come on Bandai!! :D Next on the list of releases would be Osutchi Mesutchi! Can you even imagine??!!! Ohhh I am just so excited for all these new Tamas, but in the meantime I have five of my own to take care of. I also have to decide when I want to hatch my first DigiMon remake....! Maybe next week. I am still so busy with my Tamagotchi originals and may hatch another Gen1/2 before the weekend is out. I still need to get Tarakotchi, Sekirotchi, Oyajitchi and Zatchi before I can officially say I got them all! :) Back to 20th Anniversary Tam Page These Pages created by Dennis Ryan 2018-2024 | Background by mimitchi.com |
